Terms of service

Last updated: November 3, 2026

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Everloop online store at uyyt1r-h4.myshopify.com (the "Store") and any purchase you make from it. The Store is operated by a sole proprietor based in Puerto Rico, United States, under the name Everloop ("we", "us", "our"). By visiting the Store or placing an order, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Store. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights under mandatory consumer protection laws where you live.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. The Store is intended for adults, including parents and guardians who buy our products for themselves or for family members. If you are younger than 18, you may use the Store only with the involvement of a parent or guardian.

2. Our products and descriptions

Our main product is a cat-shaped personal safety alarm keychain that anyone in the family can carry. It has a siren and an LED light. You start the siren by pulling the pin out of the strap and stop it by putting the pin back in. A separate button turns on the light. It includes three LR44 button batteries in a compartment closed with three screws. It is made of ABS plastic, measures approximately 6 × 5 × 2.6 cm (about 2.4 × 2.0 × 1.0 in) and comes in six colors. The product is not personalized.

We aim to describe our products truthfully and as accurately as we can, in line with U.S. consumer protection law, including Section 5 of the Federal Trade Commission Act. Colors may look slightly different on your screen, and images are for illustration: your order includes only what the product listing describes. We describe the product only as stated in the product listing. Please do not rely on features or performance figures that are not in the listing.

3. Product safety and intended use

Please read this section carefully before you use the product or give it to a child.

  • A tool to attract attention, not a guarantee of safety. The alarm is designed to make noise and light to draw attention. We do not promise that it will deter, prevent or stop any crime, attack, accident or emergency, that anyone will hear or respond to it, or that it will work in every situation. It is not a security system.
  • It does not replace supervision or emergency services. The alarm does not replace the supervision of an adult, common-sense precautions, or calling 911 (or your local emergency number) when you need help.
  • Not a toy. The alarm is not a toy and is not meant for play. Do not let young children play with it.
  • Teach the child how to use it. If a child carries the alarm, an adult should show them how it works, when to use it and that it must not be set off as a prank, because false alarms can frighten and disturb other people.
  • Protect hearing. The siren is loud. Do not set it off close to your ears or anyone else's ears.
  • Button batteries. The product contains three LR44 button batteries. Swallowed button batteries can cause serious internal injury. Keep the battery compartment closed and the screws in place, and keep spare or loose batteries away from young children. If you think a battery has been swallowed or put inside the body, get medical attention immediately. Only adults should open the compartment, for example to change batteries, and only with the same battery type (LR44). Never mix old and new batteries, and do not recharge, heat, take apart or damage batteries. Dispose of used batteries according to local rules. If the compartment is damaged or does not close securely, stop using the product, keep it away from children and contact us.
  • Care. Keep the alarm dry and away from heat. Check from time to time that it still works (briefly, away from ears) and stop using it if it is damaged or not working properly.
  • Follow the rules where you are. You are responsible for using the alarm in line with local laws and with the rules of schools, workplaces, airlines and other places where you use or carry it. Some places may restrict carrying or sounding alarms. Please check before you go.

To the extent permitted by law, we are not responsible for harm that happens because the alarm did not deter, prevent or alert anyone, or because the product was used contrary to this section. Nothing in this section limits liability that cannot be limited by law (see section 8).

4. Prices, payment and taxes

All prices are in U.S. dollars. Prices and offers may change at any time, but changes do not affect orders already confirmed. Where applicable, sales tax is calculated and shown at checkout. Payments are processed securely by Shopify and its payment gateways. We do not see or store your full card number. If a price on the Store is clearly wrong because of a technical or typographical error, we may cancel the order and refund you in full.

5. Orders and contract

After you place an order, you will receive an email confirming that we received it. This email is not yet an acceptance. The contract is formed when we confirm that your order has shipped. We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if the product is unavailable, if we suspect fraud, or if the shipping address is outside the countries we serve. In that case, we refund any amount you paid.

6. Shipping, delivery, returns and refunds

Shipping and delivery are governed by our Shipping Policy. Cancellations, replacements, returns and refunds, including our 90-day process for damaged, defective or incorrect items, are governed by our Refund Policy. Both policies are part of these Terms. Delivery dates are estimates. Your items may arrive in separate packages. Risk of loss passes to you when the package is delivered to the address you gave us.

7. Warranty disclaimer and your statutory rights

Except as expressly stated in these Terms, the Shipping Policy and the Refund Policy, and to the extent permitted by law, the Store and the products are provided "as is" and "as available", and we disclaim all other warranties, express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose. Some laws do not allow the exclusion of implied warranties, so this may not apply to you. This section does not affect any warranty, guarantee or right that cannot be excluded under the law that applies to you, including the legal guarantee of conformity in the European Union and the rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015.

8. Limitation of liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for loss of profits, arising from your use of the Store or our products. To the extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for defective products where the law does not allow the exclusion, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to use the Store for any unlawful purpose, to interfere with its security or operation, to submit false or misleading information, to place orders using payment methods you are not authorized to use, or to use automated tools to scrape or copy its content. You also agree not to use our products to harass, frighten or harm other people.

10. Intellectual property

All content on the Store, including the Everloop name, logo, text, images and design, belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, reproduce or use it for commercial purposes without our written permission.

11. Reviews and your content

If you send us a review, photo, video or comment, you confirm that it is genuine, that it is yours, and that it describes your own experience. You give us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display it on the Store and our social media accounts, with your first name or initials only. We may remove content that is false, unlawful or offensive.

12. Electronic communications

By placing an order, you agree that we may send you order and service messages by email, such as confirmations, shipping updates and replies to your requests. We send marketing emails only if you opt in or where the law allows it, and every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe. See our Privacy Policy.

13. Third-party services and links

The Store runs on Shopify and uses third-party services such as payment gateways, shipping carriers, a fulfillment partner and analytics providers. Your use of those services may be subject to their own terms. We are not responsible for third-party websites linked from the Store.

14. Events beyond our control

We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events beyond our reasonable control, such as severe weather, carrier or customs disruptions, strikes, public health measures or failures of internet services. This does not affect your right to cancel or to a refund where our Refund Policy or the law gives you one.

15. Indemnity

To the extent permitted by law, you agree to compensate us for claims made by third parties that result from your breach of these Terms, from your unlawful use of the Store, or from using the product contrary to section 3. This does not apply to consumers where mandatory law does not allow it.

16. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico and the applicable federal laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Before starting any legal proceedings, please contact us and give us 30 days to try to resolve the issue informally. Subject to the next sentence, the state and federal courts located in Puerto Rico have jurisdiction. If you are a consumer living in the European Union, the United Kingdom or Canada, you also benefit from the mandatory consumer provisions of the law of your country of residence and may bring proceedings in the courts of your country. You may also contact a consumer protection authority at any time.

17. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The version in force on the date of your order applies to that order. The date at the top shows the latest update.

18. General

If any part of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. These Terms, together with our Shipping Policy, Refund Policy and Privacy Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Store. If we do not enforce a right at any time, this does not mean we give it up. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights.

19. Contact

Questions about these Terms: email helpsgilded@outlook.com or write to HC-4 BOX 54199, Morovis, PR 00687, United States. We reply within 24-48 working hours, Monday to Friday. See also our Legal Notice.
